    Kinnaur Kailash: The Abode Of Lord Shiva

       
Kinnaur Kailash is a beautiful mountain in Himachal Pradesh that also offers a bit of a difficult trek. The mountain range is situated amongst the Himalayan heights and is approximately 17,200 ft above sea level. The place lies near the Indo-Tibetian border and has beautiful noises that come from gushing streams Sutlej, Spiti Baspa, and their tributaries. One of the remotest and less explored regions the entire view of the place is breathtaking making it a hit among travelers.
   
How to reach Kinnaur Kailash: The trekking starts from Tangling village to Maling which is all the way via Parvati Kund to Kinnaur Kailash. Once you reach Recking Peo, the local guides will help you with the route.

Kinnaur Kailash:- The mythical home of Lord Shiva

As per popular belief, the kund was created by Goddess Parvati herself. Also, it was the meeting point of Lord Shiva and the goddess, so it was also known as 'Aashiqui Park'. As per another mythological belief, every winter, Lord Shiva used to conduct a meeting of gods and goddesses here at Kinner Kailash

Kinner Kailash Shivling is a sacred rock worshipped as the Lingam of Lord Shiva. The rock pillar faces toward Reckong-Peo and Kala and is about 79 feet high and 30-40 feet wide.
